St. Mark's Presbyterian Church is a caring, inclusive and committed community of faith. We believe ourselves to be part of the Family of God in Jesus Christ to strive for justice for the poor and marginalized, to minister to the needs of one another and the world, and to be a setting for stimulating active involvement, learning and spiritual growth.

 Mission Statement

"DO JUSTICE, LOVE KINDNESS AND WALK HUMBLY WITH OUR GOD"

Micah 6:8

Our mission is a joyful response, both individually and in community, to God's gracious invitation to a new and redeemed life.
We seek to nurture this response through prayer, worship, education, and outreach.
We are pledged to be champions of the poor and oppressed, advocates for the victims of injustice, stewards of the world’s blessings and resources, and messengers of reconciliation to all people.
Our mission is undertaken in the certain hope and absolute faith that God's love is ongoing and unending.

   - Sharing God's love: caring through action.

"ONE BODY"
A Commitment to Inclusiveness

As members of a community of faith who are called to respond to God's gracious gift of unfailing love made evident in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we the Session of St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, praise God and rejoice in the presence of all who God has gathered by the movement of the Holy Spirit.  We seek to be faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ, and we affirm the historic tradition of Church reformed and always reforming by and through the Spirit of God.

We celebrate the richness of diversity within our membership and welcome all who profess their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to join us as members and as equal partners in ministry, regardless of age, gender, race, country of origin, ethnic heritage, sexual orientation, variety of abilities, education, marital status, economic, cultural, or religious background, or any other human condition.
We commit to each and every confirmed member all the privileges and responsibilities of membership, including ordination and the right to hold office if elected by the congregation.
