Music Ministry For Children:
Our St. Mark's children and youth let their
musical light shine often on the congregation of St. Mark's. Each
child has a unique gift of music, and our music education program is
designed to allow our younger generation ample opportunity to develop and
contribute their talent.
CHILDREN’S MUSIC PROGRAM (Dr. John Snavely,
Director)
Here
is the Sunday morning schedule for music:
Beginning Orchestra/Enrichment, especially
for recorder players/learners and any other instrument or keyboard.
The "upstairs children" from Hudler Hall including preschool -
1st grade, will participate in music during the traditional service as
part of their Enrichment Time.
Children and Youth through 5th grade will
be excused from the traditional church service and be escorted to Calvin
Hall for Children's Choir rehearsal.
We will be singing in worship on the last
Sunday of each month (with a few exceptions).
This year, students in the "Advanced
Orchestra" (middle and high school students) will be asked to present
solos, duets or other ensemble combinations for worship services. However,
we will not be meeting on a regular basis.
